The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has approved partial commissioning of solar projects connected to inter-state transmission system (ISTS) in lots of 10 MW or above.
The decision was taken to help expedite the commissioning of solar projects and in line with similar facilitation already provided to wind power projects. This special dispensation will be applicable till March 31, 2023.
