Inox Wind Limited has commissioned India’s first 3.3 MW wind turbine at Ranparda village of Jasdon taluka in Rajkot, Gujarat.
The turbine, developed with AMSC as technology partner, has a 100 metre tubular tower and 146 metre rotor blades. It has compact design and reliability, and offers the lowest possible cost of power. The wind turbine has been particularly designed for the Indian low wind areas.
