OGO Energy launches its first 100 MWh battery assembly plant in Uttar Pradesh

OGO Energy India Private Limited is launching its first 100 MWh battery assembly plant in Noida, Uttar Pradesh to support the Prime Minister’s vision of Make in India.

The plant will be operational by January 2023 with expansion plans to gigawatt-hour capacity by end of 2023. OGO Energy has successfully raised an undisclosed amount of capital. OGO Energy plans to set up a state-of-the-art research and development facility and assembly plant for the development of lithium-ion battery energy storage ecosystem with an in-house developed battery management system (BSM) to foster clean energy storage solutions. The in-house developed battery energy system with indigenous BMS will not only help to have full control over design but also will closely manage the assembly costs and quality control.
