Karnataka government gives nod for Rs 1.74 trillion worth projects on clean energy

The Karnataka government has approved 11 projects worth over Rs 1.74 trillion, mostly in the clean energy sector.

Among the 11 projects approved, eight are new projects and three are additional projects. The proposals cleared included those from ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited (Rs 518.65 billion), Avaada Ventures Private Limited (Rs 450 billion), JSW Green Hydrogen Limited (Rs 401.48 billion); ReNew E-Fuels Private Limited (Rs 200 billion), Atria Power Holdings Private Limited (Rs 94.54 billion), Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited (Rs 30.25 billion); JSW Neo Energy Limited (Rs 25.79 billion); and Continental Automotive Components (India) Private Limited (Rs 9.20 billion). Project proposals with additional investments are those of Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited (Rs 5.11 billion); G M Sugar and Energy Limited (Rs 494.4 billion); and Resources Pellets Concentrates Private Limited (Rs 8.30 billion). The investment projects are expected to further push industrial growth and generate direct and indirect employment opportunities in Karnataka.
