The Prime Minister will inagurate the 600-MW Kameng hydro power plant located in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh.
The hydro power station has been developed at a cost of over Rs 84.50 billion. The project will benefit the national grid in terms of grid stability and integration and will contribute in a major way towards the fulfilment of the country’s commitment to increase the adoption of green energy. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the state’s first greenfield airport Donyi Polo Airport. The airport has been developed in an area of over 690 acres, at a cost of more than Rs 6.40 billion.
