Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest producer of aluminium,has released its sustainable development report, “Accelerating to Net Zero”, for 2021-22. The report, unveiled on the National Energy Conservation Day, encapsulates the company’s performance across key dimensions of sustainability, such as economic performance, supply chain management, climate change and energy management, air quality and emissions control, water management, biodiversity management, waste to wealth, safety, health and well-being, people excellence, and community welfare. Vedanta Aluminium has also launched its maiden report on climate change, titled “Road to Net Zero Carbon”, aligned with the Taskforce for Climaterelated Financial Disclosures framework. Through the report, the company aims to inform its stakeholders about businessrelated opportunities, climate management strategies, commitment and performance, in the context of climate change.
