KEC International has secured new orders of Rs 13.13 billion across its various businesses.
The transmission and distribution (T&D)business has secured orders for T&D projects in India, East Asia Pacific and SAARC. These orders include 220 kV gas insulated switchgear substation for a refinery project in India, 500 kV transmission line in Thailand, and a 132 kV transmission line and associated substations in Nepal. Meanwhile, its solar business has secured a large order for a 500 MW solar photovoltaic project in India. With these orders, its year-to-date order intake in the current year stands at around Rs 145 billion, a 20 per cent growth over last year.
