NTPC Limited has commissioned first part capacity of 100 MW of 300 MW Nokhra solar photovoltaic (PV) project at Bikaner, Rajasthan.
With the commissioning of the power plant, NTPC group has crossed 3 GW operational renewable energy capacity. The company now has 36 operational renewable energy projects spread across 12 states with a cumulative capacity of 3,094 MW. With this, standalone installed and commercial capacity of NTPC has become 58,209 MW, while group installed and commercial capacity of NTPC has become 70,824 MW. As on date, 4.8 GW is under different stages of implementation and another 7.3 GW is under tendering.
