CyanConnode India Private Limited has received an order for 983,000 omnimesh modules. The order, placed by Montecarlo Limited, is towards deployment of communications infrastructure for smart meters in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Under the purchase order, CyanConnode will supply omnimesh modules together with advanced metering infrastructure, standards-based hardware, omnimesh head-end software and associated components, perpetual license, design, installation, implementation, integration, training, and support and maintenance contract with the project having a duration of ten years. The supply and installation of omnimesh is expected to commence in this quarter, with targeted completion within two and half years. The support and maintenance contract is for a period of seven and half years and will commence upon completion of the installation phase. This contract is CyanConnode’s third project in Madhya Pradesh. Prior to this order, CyanConnode recently won an order for deploying 1 million Omimesh RF modules in Bihar for which the supplies have already begun. CyanConnode is currently active in 10 states in the country and has an overall order book of more than 3.6 million nodes of which more than 1.1 million modules are already connected and communicating.
