REC Limited has signed non-binding memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with Uttar Pradesh (UP) government to extend financial assistance for various projects during UP Global Investors Summit.
The project include a power generation project of Rs 141.03 billion with capacity addition of nearly 3,000 MW, pollution control equipments and allied works; transmission projects of Rs 78 billion for strengthening the transmission system and network in UP; distribution project of Rs 136 billion for strengthening infrastructure, reducing AT&C losses, to provide quality and affordable power to all; renewable energy project of Rs 453.50 billion for addition of 10,000 MW capacity; and multiple infrastructure development projects in the state of Rs 200 billion across various sectors.
