Rays Power Infra commissions 275 MW (DC) solar PV project in Bangladesh

Rays Power Infra Private Limited has announced the commissioning of a 275 MW (DC) grid-connected solar power plant in Sundarganj, Gaibandha, Bangladesh.

Spread over 600 acres of land, the project will offset over 375 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions, and power 500,000 households in Bangladesh. The project comprises of over 500,000 solar photovoltaic (PV) modules, making it the single largest solar plant in the country. The entire project has been executed by in-house engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) team, which completed the project within the scheduled time frame of 14 months.
