Andhra Pradesh is planning to procure 7,000 MW from Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) at an effective price of Rs 2.49 per unit.
The supply of solar power will begin with 3,000 MW in the first tranche from September 2024, followed by 3,000 MW in the second tranche from September 2025, and 1,000 MW in the third tranche from September 2026.
