Bharat Coking Coal floats bids for 2.5 MW rooftop solar systems

Bharat Coking Coal (BCCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has issued a request for proposals for the installation and commissioning of 2.48 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems with net metering arrangements at 44 locations in Dhanbad, Jharkhand.

The project is expected to cost Rs 149.72 million. The successful bidder will also be responsible for the project’s operation and maintenance for the next five years. The bids must be submitted by February 22, 2023. According to the tender guidelines, the bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 1.87 million. As a performance security, the successful bidder must provide an amount equal to 3 per cent of the contract amount within 21 days of the letter of award.
