Larsen & Toubro’s T&D business secures multiple domestic EPC orders

Larsen & Toubro’s power transmission and distribution (T&D) business has secured multiple domestic engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) orders.

The T&D business has secured orders to establish 765 kV and 400 kV gas insulated switchgear (GIS) substations, to serve as pooling substations, in the Khavda renewable energy zone. Further, the business has won an order to establish 765kV GIS and air insulated switchgear (AIS) substation bays at the pooling and remote end substations. The combined scope of these substation packages includes more than 7 km of gas insulated bus ducts, bus reactors and protection and automation systems. Additionally, the T&D business has bagged orders to develop distribution infrastructure in two circles of Rajasthan’s prominent discom.
