Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has registered a power generation of 43.32 billion units in 2022-23, which includes 43.08 BUs from thermal, 239.4 MUs from hydel and 0.11 MU from solar power sources.
Total energy supplied by DVC registered an year-on-year increase of 6.5 per cent. DVC also registered a robust 29 per cent growth in power sales to Rs 244.32 billion in 2022-23 over the preceding fiscal, aided by tariff revision and a central scheme. Meanwhile, the plant load factor was recorded at 74.23 per cent in 2022-23, as against 68.96 per cent in 2021-22.
