Thermax Limited has signed an MoU with Fortescue Future InÂdÂustries (FFI) to explore green hydrogen projects, including new manufacturing facilities, in India. Under the MoU, TherÂmax and FFI plan to explore opportunities to jointly develop fuÂlly integrated green hydrogen projects for commercial and indÂustrial customers in India. The production of green hydrogen on an industrial scale would be a major step forward in decarbonising hard-to-abate industries such as refineries, fertilisers and steel. The MoU also contemplates potential collaboration between the parties for the development of new manufacturing facilities to support green energy projects in India. In addition to meeting domestic requirements, electrolysers and subsystems could potentially be used for export internationally.
