NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has generated 30.08 billion units (BUs) of power in 2022-23, which is the highest power generation for any financial year since the company’s inception.
The company also generated 2.19 BUs of green power from its solar and wind power plants in the fiscal year. Further, NLCIL has achieved the highest ever coal production and coal offtake of 10.03 million tonnes (mt) and 9.90 mt, respectively, during 2022-23. It has also exported 26.81 BUs of power during 2022-23, which is also highest ever.
