Sterling and Wilson wins T&D orders worth Rs 10.80 billion

Sterling and Wilson Private Limited (SWPL) has won three new rural electrification orders aggregating to Rs 10.80 billion.

The rural electrification orders are turnkey projects awarded under the revamped reforms-based and results-linked, distribution sector scheme. The first order is awarded by Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL) in Rajnandgaon district, Chhattisgarh, and the other two orders have been awarded by South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (SBPDCL) in Nalanda (also covering districts in Nawada) and Gaya, Bihar. The projects, aimed at development of distribution infrastructure at electric supply circle, come with a 30-month timeline.
