REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has handed over the project specific special purpose vehicle, formed for construction of transmission project viz., KPS1 Transmission Limited to Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited (MEIL).
The selection of MEIL for this inter-state transmission project was carried out through tariff based competitive bidding process. The work involves implementation of KPS1-Khavda pooling station gas-instulated switchgear (KPS2) 765 kV double circuit line and augmentation of Khavda PS1. The project is targeted to be implemented in 21 months. With this, RECPDCL has successfully handed over 52 transmission projects till now costing around Rs 709.74 billion.
