SWELECT Taiyo Energy Private Limited, a subsidiary of SWELECT Energy Systems Limited, has successfully commissioned a 7 MW solar power plant in Singalandhapuram and Vadakkuveli Villages in Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District, Tamil Nadu.
The plant will operate under the group captive user model, and power purchase agreements have already executed with industrial consumers (captive users) for the sale of solar power. The solar power plant is expected to generate approximately 11,000 units of electricity per day and will reduce the carbon footprint of the industrial consumers that purchase the solar power.
