NHPC Limited, SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), and NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) have been declared as winners in the auction conducted by the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) to supply power from 600 MW of grid-connected solar power projects at the Khavda solar park in Gujarat.
The three companies won 200 MW each. NHPC won at a quoted tariff of Rs 2.73 per kWh, SGEL won at Rs 2.88 per kWh, and NTPC REL at Rs 2.89 per kWh. GUVNL will enter into a power purchase agreement with the successful bidders for 25 years from the scheduled commercial operation date of the project.
