Results for Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited’s (RUVNL) auction to supply 1 GW of power from state transmission utility (STU)-connected solar power projects in the state have been announced.
Mahindra Susten Private Limited, Sunfree Energy (SAEL), Solarcraft Power India (Blupine Energy), Jakson, Shiva Corporation, Avaada Energy, and SJVN Green Energy Limited emerged as winners for the auction. Mahindra Susten and SAEL each received a capacity of 200 MW at a quoted tariff of Rs 2.61 per kWh. Shiva Corporation secured 50 MW at a rate of Rs 2.61 per kWh. SJVN won 100 MW capacity, quoting Rs 2.62 per kWh. Avaada Energy was awarded 200 MW at Rs 2.62 per kWh. Blupine Energy was alloted 150 MW at Rs 2.61 per kWh, while Jakson received 100 MW at Rs 2.61 per kWh. The tender was announced in January 2023. According to the tender guidelines, the projects must be operational within 18 months.
