NTPC Green Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has established a 50:50 joint venture company called Indianoil NTPC Green Energy Private Limited in partnership with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).
The primary objective of Indianoil NTPC Green Energy Private Limited is to focus on the development of renewable energy-based power projects, which may include solar photovoltaic, wind, energy storage, or any combination thereof. The aim is to generate a minimum capacity of 650 MW of round-the-clock renewable power to fulfill the energy requirements of IOCL.
