Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has received new orders for its power transmission and distribution business in India and abroad.
In India, it has received an order for building a 765kV transmission line, which will facilitate evacuation of renewable energy from the wind and solar energy hub being established around Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh. In the Middle East, it has received two orders for the improvement of electrical networks in large industrial facilities. These orders are for the construction of gas-insulated substations and high-voltage cable systems. Power transformers and control and protection systems will also be installed as part of the project.
