The National Green Hydrogen Mission has been approved by the Union Cabinet on 4th January 2023 with an outlay of Rs 197.44 billion. A key component of the proposed Mission is to establish a conducive Research and Innovation ecosystem for Green Hydrogen in the country. An advisory committee set up under National Green Hydrogen Mission has prepared a draft report on the R&D required to support a green hydrogen ecosystem in India.
