Fourth Partner Energy commissions wind-solar hybrid project in Gujarat

Reportedly, Fourth Partner Energy has announced that it has commissioned a 70 MW wind-solar hybrid facility in Gujarat’s Gondal city.

According to the developer, the 70 MW hybrid project will provide clean energy to its corporate clients at costs that are 25-35 per cent lower than grid tariffs. Filatex, Linde, Nexus Malls, and Deccan Chemicals are among the key off-takers. Notably, the project was completed in 10 months. The plant is expected to generate about 163 million units of clean energy per year. GE supplied and installed 14 wind turbines for the project.  The hybrid plant has been funded by Aseem Infrastructure Finance, which is backed by National Investment and Infrastructure Fund. Aseem Infra provided a customised debt solution of up to Rs 3 billion for the project. The company expects to commission more projects across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra.
