KEC International Limited has secured new orders worth Rs 10.65 billion across its various businesses. The transmission and distribution (T&D) business has secured orders for T&D projects in India, Africa and Americas. These include 400 kV transmission line and gas insulated switchgear (GIS) substation order in India, from a subsidiary of a reputed public sector undertaking in renewable power generation segment; 400/220 kV air insulated switchgear (AIS) substation order in India from a leading private developer; supply of towers in Africa; and supply of towers, hardware and poles in Americas, secured by its subsidiary, SAE Towers. Meanwhile, its cables business has secured orders for supply of various types of cables in India and overseas.
