Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has received a letter of intent from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) for its proposed 600 MWac (equivalent to 750 MWdc) solar photovoltaic project at Khavda.
The project comprises two blocks, with each block of 300 MWac. The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning along with a 3-years of operation and maintenance (O&M) contract. The total bid value, including O&M for 3 years, would be Rs 11.30 billion. With this, the total order booking of the company in this fiscal has reached over 1.6 GWp worth Rs 18 billion.
