Fourth Partner Energy Limited has signed a loan agreement worth Rs 1.2 billion (USD 14.7 million) with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for setting up a 25 MW open access solar power plant in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu.
The power plant is expected to generate about 50.7 GWh of electricity annually. The power from the project will be supplied to commercial and industrial users. Around 41,700 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions a year will be reduced through the plant.
