The platform will accelerate GridOS®, the world’s first software portfolio designed specifically for grid orchestration, adding new capabilities to facilitate seamless system connections and data integration across the grid at scale. The software platform and application suite enables secure and reliable grid operations, while delivering the resiliency and flexibility required by utilities worldwide. The Greenbird acquisition will expand the capabilities of the data fabric, eliminating data silos to make it faster and easier to connect and aggregate energy data, leading to reduced time and expenses for data integration projects. It will also help establish better connections with modern software, such as advanced energy management systems, advanced distribution management solutions, and distributed energy resource management systems, creating new opportunities for grid automation.
