Schneider Electric has announced the modernisation of its EcoÂStruxure IT software portfolio for monitoring and managing sprawling, hybrid IT infrastructure, which has become incÂreasingly complex in the past few years. EcoStruxure IT moderÂnÂises the monitoring, management, planning and modelling of physical IT infrastructure. It offers flexible deployment opÂtions, including on-premises and cloud-based solutions to support hybrid, distributed IT environments, ranging from a few sites to thousands of sites globally. As IT infrastructure continues to expand, business continuity is dependent on aspects rangÂing from the smallest endpoint to the largest data centre. ThereÂfore, edge deployments are now considered as mission-critical as centralised data centres, necessitating new software tooÂls to maintain the resiliency and security of the infrastructure. AddiÂtionally, sustainability is emerging as another significant trend, requiring the measurement and management of a comÂpany’s data centres’ energy consumption and carbon footprint.
