Suzlon Energy wins contract for development of 201.6 MW wind power projects in Maharashtra

Suzlon  Group has announced  a large new order acquisition for its 3 MW series of wind turbines from Teq Green Power XI Private  Limited,  part  of  O2  Power  Private  Limited.

Suzlon  will  install  64  of  its  largest  wind  turbine generators with a hybrid lattice tubular tower and a rated capacity of 3.15 MW each for the 201.6 MW wind power project. Suzlon will supply the wind turbines (equipment supply), provide land and execute the project including, erection and commissioning. It will also provide comprehensive operations and maintenance services post-commissioning. This project will enable O2 Power to provide electricity to approx. 166,000 households and curb around 655,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year. The project is expected to be commissioned by 2025.
