NIIF backed Ayana Renewable Power to develop 330 MW renewable energy capacity for Hindalco

Backed by National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF), Ayana Renewable Power has entered into a power purchase agreement with Hindalco Industries , a part of the Aditya Birla Group, for the supply of 100 MW of round-the-clock renewable energy to Hindalco’s Odisha smelter plants.

This will result in the development of approximately 330 MW of solar and wind capacity. This captive power project is a significant step toward becoming a demand-driven energy solutions provider. It aligns with their vision of becoming India’s most cost-effective power supplier by leveraging solar, wind, and pumped hydro technologies. This project will also boost Ayana Renewable Power’s cumulative capacity under management to nearly 5 GW, covering operations, maintenance, and development.
