Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power Company Limited, has entered into a power delivery agreement (PDA) with Neosym Industry Limited (Neosym).
The agreement pertains to a 26 MW AC group captive solar plant situated in Jamkhed, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. The plant is anticipated to have annual electricity generation capacity of 59 million units. It is poised to make a significant impact by reducing approximately 32,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. The plant is expected to commence operations in March 2024.
