NVVN Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) for establishment of renewable energy projects and trading of renewable energy.
NVVN will assist IGL to venture into renewable energy landscape covering various aspects viz. replacement of existing grid power with renewable energy power, battery storage, setting up of solar plant, open market power procurement and renewable energy-power trading. NVVN will act as energy trading partner for IGL. Under the MoU, NVVN will conduct pre-feasibility study and provide project management consultancy to IGL from concept to commissioning.
