Avaada Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tata Steel Special Economic Zone Limited (TSSEZL) to set up a green hydrogen and ammonia manufacturing unit in Odisha.
The unit will set up at Gopalpur Industrial Park in Ganjam district of the state. Additionally, the project is expected to contribute to employment generation, creating approximately 1,600 direct job opportunities and 4,000 indirect employment opportunities. Furthermore, it aims to reduce CO2 emissions by displacing nearly two million tonnes annually.
