NTPC Limited’s total installed capacity has reached 73,824 MW with the completion of trial operation of the first unit of 800 MW super thermal power project at Telangana.
Meanwhile, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) and V.O Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOCPA) have inked a memorandum of understanding to develop a green hydrogen hub at VOCPA, Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu. This collaboration outlines the partnership between NGEL and VOCPA aimed at creating a green hydrogen hub for the generation of green hydrogen and related products like green ammonia and green methanol.
