Adani Wind, the wind energy solutions division of Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL), has received type certification from WindGuard GmbH for its 5.2 MW wind turbine generator (WTG), making it the largest in India.
This certification marks a significant milestone, allowing Adani Wind to commence series production for global markets. The certification, issued under the IEC System for Certification to Standards Relating to Equipment for Use in Renewable Energy Applications (IECRE), serves as validation that Adani Wind’s 5.2 MW WTG adheres to the highest quality and safety standards, providing it with international recognition.
