KPI Green Energy Limited has commissioned 7.80 MW wind-solar hybrid power project in Surat, Gujarat.
The project comprised of 4.20 MW wind capacity developed by KPI Green Energy and 3.60 MW DC solar capacity provided by its subsidiary, KPIG Energia. The project was undertaken for Mono Steel India, a client of KPI Green Energy, under the captive power producer business segment of the company. This initiative falls under the Gujarat Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Policy 2018, which aims to promote the use of renewable energy sources.
