Adani Group, reportedly, has secured two contracts worth Rs 138.88 billion from Maharashtra’s state-owned electricity distribution company for the installation of smart meters.
Out of the six tenders awarded by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited for smart meter deployment, two have been won by the Adani Group. The awarded zones to Adani include Bhandup, Kalyan, and Konkan, which consist of 6.34 million meters, and Baramati and Pune, which involve 5.25 million meters.
