GTI collaborates with O2 Power to reduce carbon emissions

Gateway Terminals India Private Limited (GTI) has  signed an agreement with O2 Power to establish a captive solar power plant.

The plant will have yearly electricity generation capacity of 22 million kWh and is anticipated to meet 80 per cent of the terminal’s power requirements. This will result in 44 per cent reduction in its carbon footprint, equivalent to 15,092 CO₂.
