Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has commissioned 150 MW inter-state transmission system (ISTS)-connected solar power project (Tranche III) (SB Energy) in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The project has been developed by Adani Solar Energy Jaisalmer Two Private Limited (formerly SBSR Power Cleantech Eleven Private Limited); a wholly-owned subsidiary of AGEL. SBSR Power had won 300 MW capacity (reduced to 150 MW) under 1,200 MW ISTS-connected solar power project (Tranche III) by quoting a tariff of Rs 2.61 per kWh. The bids for the same were invited by Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited in January 2019. The project involved development of 150 MW capacity in Bikaner, Rajasthan under 1,200 MW ISTS solar power project on build, own, and operate basis inter-connected with transmission network of central transmission utility at voltage level of 132 kV or above.
