The central government has unveiled the EV-Ready India dashboard for data on adoption and forecasts of electric vehicles (EVs).
Developed by OMI Foundation, this free digital platform offers real-time insights into EV adoption and projections, battery demand, charging infrastructure, and market growth trends. The platform leverages the power of data and artificial intelligence and seeks to address the need for macroeconomic data and analysis on India’s massively growing electric mobility segment. The EV-Ready India dashboard has forcaste a 45.5 per cent compound annual growth rate in electric vehicle sales during 2022 to 2030, increasing from annual sales of 690,550 electric two-wheelers (E2Ws) in 2022 to 13,936,691 E2Ws in 2030.
