The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has notified draft CERC (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2023.
According to the draft, the place of the offices of the commission shall be as notified by the commission from time to time. The commission shall have the power to appoint the secretary, the chiefs of divisions, and other officers and employees to assist the commission in carrying out the provisions of the Act and in discharging such other functions as may be assigned by the commission from time to time.
Further, the draft has detailed about the filing of petitions and pleadings along with the proceedings of the commission.
