NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has signed an memorandum of understanding (MoUs) with Port Authorities (Kolkata, Tutikorin and Kandla) and the Shipping Corporation of India Limited (SCI) during the three-day Global Maritime India Summit.
The MoU exchanged with Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata aims for development of green hydrogen hub on the land owned by the Port Authority near the Haldia Port. Other MoUs were signed with Chidambaranar Port Authority, Tutikorin, and Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla will be useful for development of green hydrogen hub on the port-land and supply of green fuels for captive use of SCI.
