Waaree Energies Limited has secured a 200 MW module supply order from ENGIE India Limited for a solar project in Surendra Nangar district of Gujarat.
Reportedly, the company is developing the Sayla village project, designated as Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) 2, under a 25 year solar power purchase agreement with GUVNL. The 200 MW of AHNAY 545 Wp bifacial modules which are to be supplied by the company will generate 340 million units of electricity per annum. Waaree’s supply mandate with ENGIE is expected to commence from November 2023 and is likely to be completed by February 2024.
