ATG and AJB Investment have collaborated with Nippon Energy for the development of the Hattem solar power plant in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with a capacity of 118 MWp.
This strategic initiative resonates with the UAE’s commitment to sustainability and its ambitious objective of hosting the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2023. The Hattem solar power plant is projected to generate 4,867 GWh of clean energy annually, an amount equivalent to powering over 400,000 households. This project will play a pivotal role in advancing the UAE’s aspiration to derive 40 per cent of its electricity from renewable sources by the year 2030.
