Eden Renewables India Limited has inked a 300 MW power purchase agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI).
The agreement stems from Eden’s bid in SECI’s 2 GW auction, where it secured a 300 MW solar photovoltaic capacity by offering a competitive price of Rs 2.60 ($0.032) per kWh. In accordance with the terms outlined in the tender document, Eden Renewables will spearhead the development of the project, linked to the interstate transmission system (ISTS), through a build-own-operate framework. The project holds the flexibility to be situated anywhere in India. The generated power is slated to be distributed to various entities within the country, as stipulated by SECI.
