The Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers’ Association (IEEMA) has inaugurated the 12th edition of the Trafotech Global Conference themed “Transformers for Sustainable Future”. Trafotech Global is one of the longest-running transformer conferences in India where industry leaders, researchers and enthusiasts gather to explore cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions in the transformer ecosystem. Some of the key takeaways at the conference were that the power sector is currently witnessing a 6 per cent growth, which is projected to get revised to 9 per cent. This presents a tremendous opportunity for the equipment manufacturing industry to grow, which will require a robust supply chain network. However, maintaining the quality of supply is the key challenge that the industry is facing.
