The central government has has formally allocated a coal block in Jharkhand to NLC India Limited.
NLC India had emerged as successful bidder for North Dhadu (Western Part) mine in Latehar district of Jharkhand under commercial auctions held in August 2023. The Dhadu coal mine boasts reserves of 434.65 million tonnes, with a peak rated capacity of three million tonnes per annum.
